Suspect wanted for throwing ‘incendiary device’ into bank: High River RCMP

High River RCMP are looking for a suspect who tossed an “incendiary device” into a bank Wednesday morning.
Mounties say the man fled the scene on an electric scooter after the device detonated inside the RBC bank on the corner of 3 Avenue and 1 Street SW.
No injuries have been reported.
The suspect is described as being 6′ tall with a medium build and broad shoulders.
He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt with grey sleeves, orange gloves, and dark pants at the time.

Mounties provided photos of the device, which apears to be homemade.

Police ask anyone with information about this incident to call the High River RCMP at 403-652-2357 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
