WestJet adds flights to six Asian destinations out of Calgary

More travel destinations on the way for WestJet passengers starting May 17th, as part of a codeshare agreement.

WestJet has added six Asian destinations to its network which will begin departing from the Calgary International Airport (YYC) next month.

Starting May 17, travelers will be able to travel to Bangkok, Da Nang, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, as well as Hong Kong and Singapore.

WestJet says flyers will have a single connection at Incheon International Airport and will be able to book their trip with one ticket and baggage transfers, and will be able to earn WestJet dollars as well.

These flights will be available through an expansion of WestJet’s codeshare agreement with Korean Air.

All routes will fly on WestJet’s 78 Dreamliner up to three days per week during peak travel periods.

All WestJet codeshare destinations are now available through WestJet’s website, the WestJet app, and travel agent partners.
