Calgary man among pair charged in Vulcan home invasion

A Calgary man is one of two people facing charges in connection to a possible home invasion in Vulcan last month.
Alberta RCMP say on Nov. 20, around 5 p.m., Vulcan RCMP received a report of a suspected home invasion.
When officers got to the scene, the suspects had fled.
Police say the victim was left with minor injuries.
Two men have now been arrested in connection with the incident, 35-year-old Mike Taylor from Calgary, and 26-year-old Brandon Bates of Vulcan.
The pair are charged with break and enter to a residence, assault with a weapon, and uttering threats.
They will appear in court in Lethbridge on Dec. 12.
RCMP say this was an isolated incident and the persons involved were known to each other.
There is no threat to the community.
Vulcan is about 130 kilometres southeast of Calgary.
