Pedestrian hit by vehicle in SW Calgary, sent to hospital in stable condition

A pedestrian is recovering in hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Calgary’s southwest Thursday morning.

Calgary police say it happened at 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Everridge Drive SW and Everhollow Rise SW.

No information has been provided about the pedestrian’s injuries, however, officers say they were taken to hospital in stable condition.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
