Fire breaks out and completely destroys Tsuut’ina Nation home

A home on the Tsuut’ina Nation went up in flames and was completely destroyed early Saturday.

It happened at around 3 a.m., displacing five people.

In the meantime, community members have come together to help in any way they can, including a family friend who has set up a GoFundMe to help with the loss.

“The home is completely gone with everything in it, so close to Christmas,” Wendy Two Guns said on the page.

“The tremendous loss of a home and all of their life long memories breaks my heart. We are all grateful the family is okay,”
