Flair airplane suffers tail strike during takeoff from Calgary Airport

A plane taking off from the Calgary International Airport had to make a quick return this morning.

The airport says the Flair Airlines Flight experienced a tail strike during takeoff.

Pilots turned around and landed safely and the plane was brought back to its gate without further incident.

Flair maintenance staff inspected the plane at gave it the all clear to return to the air.

YYC says the plane left for Toronto just after 10:30 a.m.
