Calgary police respond to body found in Bow River

Calgary police taping off the area where a body was found in the Bow River in the vicinity of Riverside Close SE near Carburn Park SE Monday morning.

Officers are responding to reports of a body found in the Bow River in the city’s southeast Monday.

Calls came in at around 11:15 a.m. in the area of Riverside Close near Carburn Park SE.

The medical examiner has been called to the scene, but officers say it’s too soon to determine if the death is suspicious.

More information is expected to be shared when it’s available.
