It’s a wrap on another year at the Calgary Comics and Entertainment Expo

Another Calgary Expo has come to an end and was it ever a wild ride.

Even Mother Nature’s seemingly constant barrage of snow couldn’t dampen the enthusiasm of attendees who flocked to Stampede Park to see guests like William Shatner, Anthony Daniels, and all four hobbits from the Lord of the Rings movies.

The snow and wind were so bad on Friday morning that the POW! Parade of Wonders was cancelled, at least the parade portion and turned into the Party of Wonders on the steps of the BMO Centre.

Inside, though, a much different story with packed room for shopping, panels, autographs, photo ops, and so much more.

660’s Todd Kaufman was there and spoke with some Calgary Expo volunteers and a very well-known Star Wars author.
