Expanded two-day Roundup Music Festival releases lineup

The Roundup Music Festival is doubling down on live music this summer, expanding to two full days at Prince’s Island Park.

The festival runs July 8 and 9 during the Calgary Stampede and organizers are leaning into two distinct vibes, delivering a lineup that spans classic rock icons and modern indie favourites.

Day One brings Billy Idol and David Lee Roth, joined by Canadian rock staples Sloan and supergroup Toque.

Day Two shifts into alternative territory with Foster the People, Grouplove, The New Pornographers, and Alberta’s own The Royal Foundry.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., and full details are available at roundupmusicfest.com.
