Woman, 2 children to hospital after being struck by vehicle

A woman and two children are in hospital after being struck by a vehicle in northeast Calgary on Monday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Martindale Drive and Martinedale Boulevard NE around 3:15 p.m. for reports of people being hit by a vehicle.

Police say a woman suffered serious, non-life-altering injuries and is in stable condition. Two children received minor injuries.

All three were taken to hospital.

The driver involved remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
