Body found in downtown Calgary deemed ‘non-suspicious’

Police say a person found dead in downtown Calgary on Tuesday morning is not considered suspicious.

The police homicide unit was called to an “undetermined death” on 9 Street and 5 Avenue SW just before 5:30 a.m.

Officers found one person dead. Hours later, police said the death is believed to be non-suspicious.

The investigation is ongoing.
