Well intentioned Calgarians who are setting out morsels for a missing Calgary boy may want to take extra consideration, say Calgary Police.
CPS tells CityNews some are taking matters into their own hands with placement of food and water labelled “Parker” in parks and other public places in hopes that he will consume it.
There’s concern about Parker’s condition as he’s been missing several days.

Police say they have no issues with water being left out; however, any food left in place should be non spoilable such as granola bars, especially considering the warm weather of late.
Meanwhile, CPS are making a downloadable copy of Parker’s missing person poster available in Cantonese, Mandarin, Arabic, Spanish, Tagalog, Russian, Ukrainian, Hindi, and Polish.
“Please consider sharing it with your family, friends, neighbours, workplaces and community groups
to help expand our reach and keep Parker’s photo visible throughout Calgary and surrounding areas,” says a CPS statement.
Calgary police have also warned of scam connected to Parker.
CPS say a GoFundMe campaign is claiming to support Parker’s case.
“This fundraiser is not authorized & has no connection to Parker’s family. At this time, the family has confirmed that there is no official GoFundMe associated with this case. Police are urging the public to use caution when contributing to online fundraisers & to verify the legitimacy of any donation campaign before making a contribution.”
Anyone with information about his whereabouts, or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of Parker, is asked to contact police by calling 403-266-1234 or by submitting footage.
