Several residents are displaced after northeast Calgary fire

A house fire in northeast Calgary left several residents displaced after spreading from the source.

Just after 1 p.m. Wednesday Calgary fire was called to a home on Martinbrook Link NE, where they discovered flames coming from a house which also spread to a neighbouring home. 

Crews quickly knocked down the blaze, but both homes were damaged. 

The Red Cross is coming to the aid of 15 residents who have been displaced.

No injuries have been reported.
