Police are looking for two people after paramedic tools and equipment were stolen from a vehicle in northeast Calgary.
Calgary police say someone got into the personal vehicle of a paramedic which was parked on Covebrook Place NE in the community of Coventry Hills around 6 a.m. on Sept. 18.
It is alleged a bag containing uniforms and paramedic gear was taken from the vehicle. Some of the stolen items were later found discarded nearby.
Investigators do not believe the paramedic was targeted and say security footage shows two people trying to open several other vehicles in the area around the same time.
Police are asking for help identifying the suspects.
The first suspect was wearing a black motocross‑style helmet and carrying a blue cooler and a large bag. The second suspect wore a hooded sweater under a two‑tone jacket with reflective strips on the wrists and shoulders, and carried a backpack
