Pedestrian struck in SW Calgary

A pedestrian is in stable condition after they were hit by a vehicle in SW Calgary Monday night.

A pedestrian is in stable condition after they were hit by a vehicle in southwest Calgary Monday night.

Calgary police say they were called to 66 Ave. and 37 St. around 6:15 p.m.

The driver stayed at the scene and the area was closed for several hours as emergency crews worked to clean up.

As yet there is no word on what may have caused the crash.
