Six employees at Mount Royal University’s Recreation Centre are being recognized for saving a man’s life earlier this month.
Ayaz Kara, 53, suffered cardiac arrest while he was in the locker room of the university’s pool on January 6th.
Staff quickly grabbed an external defibrilator and re-started his heart before paramedics arrived.
Kara will be personally thanking the people who saved his life Friday morning at a special ceremony.
