After a one-day delay, the trial of three men accused of shooting wild horses near Sundre is set to begin Tuesday.
Jason Nixon, the son of Mustard Seed founder Pat Nixon, says he’s looking forward to the hearing to clear his name.
He tells The Calgary Sun he’s confident he’ll be exonerated once the evidence is revealed.
Nixon and two other men are charged with killing cattle and careless use of a firearm in the death of a pregnant mare in 2009.
