A 27-year-old Lethbridge man is facing charges after turning himself in to police for accessing child pornography.
The Lethbridge Police Service says at 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning, Chase Teyke walked into the police station and said he had had online interaction with about 15 girls — believed to be between the ages of 13 and 16 — over the last three years.
He told police he had been using a fake profile under the name of Chad Howard.
Teyke has been released while he awaits a court date later this month. In the meantime, his access to the internet is restricted, as well as his contact with anyone under the age of 16.
