Bow Trail SW Partially Closed… Again

Here we go again.

Bow Trail SW is partially closed heading into the core is closed as crews work to fix a watermain break near the Greyhound Bus Depot.

Traffic is being detoured around the problem along Pumphouse Ave SW and the lane reversal on Bow Trail onto 4th Avene SW to connect with 5th Avenue SW at 11th Street SW.

The watermain break is expected to be fixed by lunchtime today.

Then crews will begin repairing any cracks to asphalt along Bow Trail.

The damage may be significant because of the thousands of litres of water.

Drivers are being urged to use 17th Avenue SW, 12th Avenue SW or Memorial Drive NW as an alternate route until further notice.
