A benefit will be held tonight in the name of a Didsbury dog dragged to her death behind a truck nearly five years ago.
A group started in the dog’s name, called the Daisy Foundation, helps people who can’t afford their pets anymore to keep them.
Heather Anderson with the foundation says their fourth annual fundraiser will help their rescue, spay and neuter programs and with vet bills.
The family-friendly fundraiser goes tonight at the Pineridge Community Association at 6:00. It runs until midnight with entertainment, door prizes, a silent auction a 50/50 and more.
