RCMP say speed and alcohol are factors in the triple fatal collision that took place early Saturday morning.
Constable Jodi Heidinger says two cars were involved in the crash that killed three young men. “The deceased males were all from the Leduc County and Beaumont area. There was two 18-year-old males and one 22-year-old male that were killed in the collision,” she says.
Meanwhile, a fourth man from Beaumont remains in hospital. “One additional occupant in the Dodge Ram was transported to hospital by STARS Air Ambulance. He remains in hospital in critical condition,” Heidinger adds.
Police continue to look at the circumstances of the collision. No charges have been laid at this time.
