Incoming premier to meet with MLAs on the weekend

Expect the meeting rooms at the legislature to get a lot of use this weekend as Alberta’s new Premier-Elect said she and her 52 caucus members will meet as a group for the first time.

The office basics are the current focus as Rachel Notley tries to get her team, including many newbies, in order to take over the provincial government.

There is no date yet on when Notley will be formally sworn in as Alberta’s 17th Premier, but she met with the Lieutenant-Governor Thursday.
