Police remind drivers to slow down

A quick reminder from police for people who are out on the road this Monday morning.
Duty Inspector Darren Leggatt tells 660News with the light snow fall and the warm weather it’s best to take necessary measures to ensure your safety on the roads.
“The roads have become quite slick and as road crews continue to make efforts to removes now from the roadways we continue to ask the public to slow down, pay attention to the weather and the road conditions and allow for that time to react in the event that the road conditions to become a factor.”
Leggatt says so far they have had about ten collisions luckily nothing serious.
