Complaints to 311 skyrocketing

Calgarians love to complain about their neighbours; by-law complaint calls are on the rise.

The Calgary Sun reports back in 2005, when the city launched its 311 service, it received just under 39,000 complaints.

The number of calls this year is expected to reach 65,000, which would represent a 48 per cent increase.

Snow and ice covered sidewalks remain the number one complaint, followed by weed control and noise.
