Employee assaulted in liquor store robbery

Police are looking for suspects after a possible armed robbery at a north east liquor store early Monday.
It happened in the 5000 block of 4 Street NE, shortly before 2 a.m.
Detective Andy Nguyen tells 660 NEWS, at least two people went into the store, struck the lone employee in the head, and made off with some cash.
He says the robbers may have had a gun, and took off in a silver four door car.
Investigators are going over surveillance video.
The employee was taken to hospital as a precaution.
