City police are looking for suspects after a carjacking at a hotel near the airport.
At about 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to the Hampton Inn at 100 Avenue N.E., just north of the Calgary International Airport, after a driver was pepper sprayed and had his rental car stolen.
CPS told 660 NEWS that they think the fact it was a newer model rental car could have been the motive for the carjacking.
One suspect left in the stolen car, while a second left in a different vehicle.
Officers are also investigating whether a hit and run in the northeast might be related to the carjacking.
As for injuries, the pepper sprayed driver was treated on scene by EMS.
