Property assessments coming soon

Over half a million property and business assessment notices go in the mail Tuesday.

Residential property taxes are going up 3.5 per cent this year in Calgary.

Director and City Assessor Nelson Karpa, is holding a news conference Tuesday morning.

He’ll discuss key findings from the 2016 Property and Business Assessment Roll.

The presentation is set for 10 a.m. at Ad Valorem Place in the northeast.
