Southland Drive lane restrictions continue

Lane closures along Southland Drive will continue Monday. Crews have been dealing with a water main break since Friday night at Southland Drive and Horton Road SW.

The city’s construction services tells 660News they hope to finish repairs to the water main in the next few days.

But it’s still unclear when the road will completely reopen, as there has been quite a bit of damage to the asphalt which will need to be repaired.

The city says the repair has taken longer than expected because there was a storm sewer running across the top of the water main.
