Rain means cautious driving

Calgary drivers are well accustomed to dealing with poor driving conditions during the winter, but on Tuesday the rain created some tough situations on city streets.

Bill Boyes with the City of Calgary tells 660News that trying to take short cuts through residential areas is not the best idea, especially when there’s a heavy accumulation of water.

He says the best piece of advice is to slow down.

Boyes adds that Calgarians should call 3-1-1 if they see anything of concern on city roads.
