Taber corn delayed

It will be another few weeks before you can get your hands on some fresh Taber corn.
The trucks won’t be rolling into Calgary until September.
Grower Dave Jensen tells 660News this year’s crop will still be as tasty as ever, but he expects there will not be as much to go around.
However, he says it hard to tell how many cobs the crop is going to produce until they get out there and look later this month.
Jensen says so far corn stalks are not as tall as they usually are at this time of year.
