Flames games postponed as players, staff member enter COVID protocol

The Calgary Flames won’t be playing any hockey games until at least Dec. 16 due to a bout with COVID-19.
The NHL says six players and one staff member have entered the league’s COVID protocol and due to concern over the continued spread of the virus, games have been postponed until Thursday at the earliest.

The Flames’ training facilities have been closed and will remain closed until further notice.
The team was scheduled to play in Chicago Monday night, Nashville on Tuesday, and Toronto on Thursday. The NHL says it is reviewing the Flames schedule and revising it as needed.
