Police say the driver of the truck fled eastbound on 11 Avenue SW on foot after hitting the man. Shortly after the collision, EMS arrived and took the man to hospital in serious condition.
The driver of the truck is said to have legitimately rented the U-Haul, however, his identity is under investigation. He is described as being between 45 and 50 years old, around 5’10” tall, with balding hair. He was seen wearing blue jeans and a green sweater with a white shirt underneath.
