A network-wide system issue is creating some challenges for passengers flying out of Calgary, with delays reported as a result of the problem.
The issue is affecting both the check-in and boarding processes.
Two flights are affected out of Calgary International, one to Edmonton and the other to Montego Bay. Both were supposed to take off early Monday morning but departure times have now been pushed back several hours.
Important note for all Sunwing Airlines passengers travelling over the next 12-24 hours:

The flight to Edmonton is now scheduled for Monday at 8 p.m. while the flight to Jamaica is set to leave at 4 p.m. These are the only Sunwing flights scheduled to leave Calgary on Monday.
Sunwing’s issues are also grounding flights in Toronto. A growing number of departures have been delayed Monday, with the airline saying in a statement to CityNews it regrets the impact on customers.
One flight that was supposed to leave Vancouver International Airport Monday morning was also delayed several hours.
The airline says it is “working diligently with our technology provider to resolve the issue as soon as possible so that regular flight operations can resume.”

Sunwing and the Calgary Airport Authority are encouraging customers to check their flight status before heading to YYC.
No timeline has been provided for a return to normal service.
