Calgary’s new dating alternative

Two Calgary women have teamed up to launch KarMingle, the good karma alternative to online dating.
The idea is for single women between 35 and 55 to bring a male friend they have no romantic interest in, to a networking event, so she and her man-buddy can meet that someone special.
KarMingle co-founder Colette Kennedy says he might be a brother, cousin, co-worker or even an ex.
The first KarMingle goes February 19 at the Ramada Hotel Downtown.
