Foreigner’s farewell tour includes 2024 Calgary stop

Foreigner has been pumping out the hits for nearly 50 years and 2024 will mark their farewell tour.

The band formed in New York in 1976 and has had 16 Top 30 hits, 9 of those hitting Top 10.

Foreigner’s 1981 ‘4’ sat at #1 on the Billboard charts for 10 weeks, longer than any album by any artist in Atlantic Records’ 75-year history.

City’s Todd Kaufman caught up with keyboardist Michael Bluestein to talk about the band’s legacy.
