Calgary firefighters responded to an ammonia leak reported at a food-handling warehouse in Ogden Friday night.
When crews arrived, they found about 70 employees fleeing the building in the 3400 block of 56th Ave SE.
A leak in the cooling system was discovered as the cause for the release of ammonia and the supply was shut down.
Crews ventilated the building and remained on scene into the wee hours Saturday morning.
Battalion Chief Ernie Molineaux tells 660News, the gas was up to a dangerous 300 parts per million.
No one was hurt.
