Natalie Pasqua sentenced to an additional two years in prison

Natalie Pasqua has been sentenced to an additional two years in prison for pushing 17-year-old Gage Prevost to his death in front of a C-Train.

Pasqua had pleaded guilty to manslaughter for shoving Prevost off the train platform during an argument over a botched drug deal.  She had previously been convicted of second-degree murder, but that verdict was overturned on appeal.

It was an emotional day in court as Prevost’s family read victim impact statements.  His father, Dale, described the ordeal of having to identify his son’s body at the Medical Examiner’s Office.    With tears streaming down his face, he gazed at Pasqua in court and asked why she didn’t just walk away (from Prevost) that day.
