Wildrose Alliance looking forward to 2010

2010 is looking bright for Alberta’s newest political party.

The Wild Rose Alliance appears to be becoming a political force to be reckoned with.

Polls show the Wildrose Alliance has surged past Premier Stelmach’s Tories and they’re also ahead of the Liberals and New Democrats.

Critics have accused Stelmach’s tories of mismanaging health care in light of the H1 N1 vaccination fiasco.

The province’s finances have also sunk in to the red because of falling oil and natural gas prices.

Some critics say the Alliance is too far to the political right but Smith tells the Calgary Sun she didn’t sign up to lead a ‘fringe protest party’ but one that appeals to Albertans’ core values.
