Flames forward Brett Sutter arrested

Calgary Flames forward Brett Sutter was arrested early Thursday morning after an alleged bar-fight in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Sutter was quickly processed by Scottsdale area police and later released on bond.

A release from the Flames says: ”We were immediately made aware of the incident by the individual involved and are in the process of gathering more information to have a full and clear understanding. All appropriate people have been notified. However, due to the routine police process required, we are unable to comment any further at this time.”

The 23-year old is the son of Flames general manager Darryl Sutter, and the nephew of coach Brent Sutter.

The Flames are in the area to play the Coyotes Friday night.
