A Calgary police officer narrowly escaped being hit by a fleeing driver on Friday.
People in the parking lot of Westbrook Mall became suspicious of a man who was parked in a handicap stall.
When officers arrived, the man got into a car and deliberately drove at them, forcing one officer to jump out of the way.
Inspector Chris Butler tells 660News the vehicle has since been spotted in several parts of the city.
The car is a light green four-door Honda Accord, which might have been stolen.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 30’s, about six feet tall and 180 pounds with a mullet style haircut.
He is considered dangerous, and should not be approached.
