Some visitors from the North Pole are helping out travelers at Calgary International Airport.
If you missed the memo, you may not be able to go through security with your wrapped presents, but passengers who do can get their gifts re-wrapped by the Airport Elves.
YYC Director Jody Moseley tells 660News, the program is free, and any donations they get will be donated to a local charity.
“They enjoy what they do, it helps keep everyone really festive, and we’re just happy that we can add a little bit of festive light into their day when they are passing through YYC,” she said.
On the busiest travel day of the year, she said they are working hard to make sure people are processed quickly, and runways are clear.
