Date set for Lang memorial

Journalists, friends and family will have a chance to remember Calgary Herald journalist Michelle Lang at a memorial service next Monday.

The service will be held at First Alliance Church in the southeast.

Lang was laid to rest in her hometown of Vancouver yesterday at a funeral attended by hundreds of people after being killed with four soldiers by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan on December 30th.

The final funeral for the slain five will be held today. Private Garrett Chidley will be laid to rest today in Surrey, B.C.
