CPS investigate possible homicide

Calgary Police are investigating a possible homicide and say the body of the victim may be in a missing SUV.

Around 12:30 p.m., on Sunday, police were called to the 200 block of Falshire Way N.E. and say officers saw evidence that leads them to believe a man was killed.

A man and a woman found in the home were arrested.  The woman has since been released, but the man is still in custody.  Police say he is well known to the Calgary Police Service and knew the victim.

Although the body has not been found, investigators say they know who the victim is and they are looking for multiple edged weapons wrapped in a green towel that may have been dumped in an alley in Temple along 68th between 32nd and 37th avenues.

They’re also looking for a black 1999 GMC Denali with an Alberta license plate reading ZND-189 and say the victim’s body may be inside or there could be evidence in the vehicle that could lead them to the body.

The vehicle will have damage to the right front bumper.

Police say if you see the vehicle, do not approach it, and call them immediately.
