Two toddlers reported dead in Alberta home

Autopsies will be done today on two bodies, believed to be those of toddlers, found in a home in Millet, just south of Edmonton.

RCMP have not confirmed the identities or ages of those involved but a close family friend says the distraught dad found his two sons drowned in the bathtub on Monday afternoon.

Neighbours say a couple and their two young children had moved into the home a year ago, but the father had recently moved out as the couple was apparently planning a divorce.   The wife may have been planning to move home to Australia.

RCMP have confirmed a car found in a south Edmonton parking lot late Monday is connected to the case.  Reports indicate it belongs to the mother of the two toddlers.

Friends say she survived a suicide attempt near where the car was found.
