A relief worker from Calgary has just returned home from Haiti after witnessing the destruction there.
Carlos Castaneda with Samaritans purse arrived in that country just three days after the massive earthquake struck the Caribbean Island.
He spent about three weeks helping with relief efforts and says he could not believe the madness that surrounded him.
He says he immediately started handing out survival kits to those in need.
The charity is now sending out another volunteer to help rebuild that country.
