Trial set in Kresk death

A trial date has been set for three companies who have plead not guilty to safety code violations after construction material killed a young girl downtown.
Michelle Kresk died after being hit by a piece of sheet metal while walking with her family last summer.
The girl’s mother tells The Calgary Herald, it’s sad that the companies have decided to go to trial over the matter.
A spokesperson for one of the companies says they are sorry for what happened but can’t comment on the case as it’s before the courts.
