Several people were forced from their homes and one woman had to be treated by paramedics after a gas leak in the southwest community of Woodbine early Friday afternoon.
The fire department says the leak occurred when some dirt fell on a hidden line, while city workers were repairing a water line.
Members of the fire department and police went door to door in the 100 block of Woodmont Green southwest.
Atco crews had to expose the hidden line before they were able to fixed it.
