Calgarians are being swept up in the magic of the World Cup.
Sports retailers say it’s getting so busy they can’t even keep up with the demand.
The merchandise is flying off the shelves.
Jerseys of popular countries like England, Italy, Germany and Holland are now a rarity in stores.
Unfortunately, those hoping to get get their country’s jersey are out of luck if it’s not on the hanger when they get to the store.
Retailers say they likely won’t be able to get in new orders for at least another couple of months.
