Alberta’s Culture Minister has used the “s-word” when describing Canadian television.
Earlier this week, Lindsay Blackett used the swear word during a panel discussion at the Banff World Television Festival.
Blackett said, “As a government representative for film and television, why do I produce so much *blank*? Why do I fund so much crap?”
Two days after making the remark, the Calgary Herald reports Blackett is not backing down from cursing.
He says the quality of Canadian television needs to be questioned and he chose to use the swear word to draw attention to that fact.
