Barb Higgins set to announce mayoral run

Will she or won’t she run for mayor?
Former CTV Anchor Barb Higgins is expected to answer that question at a news conference scheduled for 9:30 Wednesday morning.
Political observers say if she makes it official she’ll be an instant game changer and possibly the frontrunner because of how much Calgarians trust her.
Higgins stepped down after 21 years at CTV last week.
When her colleagues asked her what was next, she said only that she had made a decision, but wasn’t ready to talk about it yet.
